Museum-based election broadcast
KBS plans to air its 2026 local-election results broadcast from the National Museum of Korea on June 3, 2026. The production combines the museum setting with broadcast augmented reality to visualize election results.
K-Zone AR stage
A special K-Zone stage is being built near the museum's Mirror Pond. KBS plans to shift between the physical location and AR visuals, using regional artifacts to help present how voter choices translate into local-government outcomes.
Election data visualization
Crane cameras and RC cameras will support the spatial presentation. AI video and 3D graphics will visualize nationwide turnout, regional counting rates, candidate trends and changes in close races through maps and moving graphics.
K-World studio
The main studio will use a large K-Wall LED display and a floor display to present voting and counting information in three dimensions. The XR element is a broadcast visualization workflow rather than an audience headset experience.
