The Ancient City of Taizhou operates a smart tour guide along the full length of Ziyang Ancient Street in Linhai, a city in Taizhou prefecture, Zhejiang. Visitors can rent Rokid Glass3 glasses on demand and explore the historic street without holding a phone. ZTE reported that the service was operating by 6 November 2026.
The guide provides commentary on the sights, helps visitors plan a route and gives directions as they walk. Visitors can also ask questions in real time and capture images with the glasses.
Rokid supplies the glasses. China Telecom Zhejiang and ZTE set up a private 5G Advanced network using the scenic area's existing base stations to support the service.
