Bermuda Tourism Authority has added an interactive augmented reality experience to UnSettled Freedom, a public mural by Bermudian artist Shanna Hollis in King's Square, St. George's. The experience lets visitors and residents explore Bermuda's history through their mobile devices, with the aim of deepening cultural connections and encouraging exploration of the town's heritage.

Visitors scan an on-site QR code to unlock animation, sound and digital storytelling associated with the mural's panels. The stories trace Bermuda's journey from its earliest settlers through emancipation and civil rights to its recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The authority described the AR experience as operational in an October 2025 post. It builds on Hollis' original mural, which the artist reported complete in October 2024, bringing a digital layer to the existing public artwork.
