The Caucasian Bee Museum in Ardahan, northeastern Türkiye, offers visitors a virtual reality simulation that shows life inside a hive from a bee’s perspective. Developed by the center, the experience forms part of the museum’s introduction to beekeeping and bee products.
The museum explores the native Caucasian honeybee and the region’s biodiversity. Its educational purpose extends across age groups, with Center Director Sinan Aydin describing it as a learning hub for visitors from young students to seniors.
Aydin reported that the museum had welcomed around 4,600 visitors since opening nearly two years before the October 2026 report. This figure covers attendance at the museum as a whole; it does not establish how many visitors used the VR simulation.
