The Diocese of Peoria plans to create an interactive hologram of Bl Fulton Sheen using artificial intelligence. Bishop Louis Tylka of Peoria has explained that the hologram will be part of the forthcoming Sheen Experience, a planned museum and cultural centre at Sheen's former high school in Peoria, Illinois.
As described in the project's video material, visitors will be able to see Blessed Sheen, hear him speak, and eventually ask him questions, with responses drawn from his extensive writings and recorded teachings. The hologram is still at the planning stage and is not yet operating; the plan has drawn criticism from some Catholics.
