Eni is presenting "Pioneers to Makers", a large interactive and immersive space at Maker Faire Rome - The European Edition, marking 100 years since the birth of Agip. The installation runs from 23 to 25 October 2026 in Eni's spaces at the Gazometro in Rome Ostiense, where the fair is held, and is open to the fair's visitors.
Visitors are guided through a century of industrial history and toward future energy solutions by a route of installations, games, projections, and virtual and augmented reality experiences. The stand draws on Eni's historical archive, which holds more than 6 kilometres of documents, 500,000 images and 5,000 audiovisual items, reworked for the occasion into technology-based, engaging formats.
Eni describes itself as main partner of the fair for the thirteenth consecutive year. Local press reported the stand in operation on the opening day, with visitors queuing at the entrance and wearing VR headsets inside.
