Gunner Kennels introduced GUNNER VISION to help shoppers compare crate sizes before ordering. Buyers could rotate product models and place life-size virtual crates beside a dog or inside a vehicle using an Apple device and Safari.

In Shopify's case study, Gunner reported quarter-over-quarter increases of 3% in cart conversion and 40% in order conversion, alongside a 5% reduction in returns. These are company-reported comparisons, not independently established causal effects.

The deployment was publicly documented by September 2020; its exact launch date is not established. Gunner's help centre continues to describe GUNNER VISION, but present functionality has not been independently confirmed.

With this technology, buyers can now use their device to place the crate right next to their dogs to confirm sizing, decreasing our return rate by 5%.
