Sandbox VR, working with franchisee Nextgen Virtual LLC, is opening its second North Carolina location at The Station at LoSo, 3600 South Boulevard, Suite 150, Charlotte, NC 28209, on 18 September 2026, joining an existing Sandbox VR venue in Winston-Salem, NC. The venue is over 4,400 square feet and has four VR private rooms where groups of up to six guests wear headsets, haptic vests and wrist, ankle and head motion trackers for room-scale, full-body multiplayer experiences; physical props react with real-time recoil. Guests choose from Sandbox VR's catalogue of licensed and original group-play experiences. Franchise owner Ritesh Kumar said the venue will serve friends, families, corporate teams and visitors as part of Charlotte's growing dining, nightlife and interactive entertainment scene. As of the source date the venue had not yet opened, so adoption is recorded as Announced rather than confirmed operation.
