Studio Phi, the Montreal immersive-media organisation that presents work through its distribution arm Infinity Experiences, is running The Secret of the Pyramid Builders at Arsenal Contemporary Art in Montreal. The expedition was produced by the French studio Excurio, which lists the venue on its own directory as "Arsenal Contemporary Art / Operated by Studio Phi".
Visitors wear virtual reality headsets and walk freely through a shared physical space for about 45 minutes, following the people who built the Great Pyramid rather than touring the finished monument. The experience is presented as a heritage-education visitor attraction for a general and family audience, with a recommended minimum age of eight, and is ticketed through the operator's own booking page.
The run is still operating. Its own promotional page currently carries a "Final weeks" banner stating that the experience leaves Montreal on 25 September 2026. That is a scheduled closing date, not a recorded ending, so no deployment end date has been entered; later coverage should confirm the actual last day of operation.
The Montreal opening was reported as 27 February 2026 by tourism listings, which is why the start is recorded here only to month precision - the coordinator did not verify an exact opening day against a primary source. At least one older listing still showed an earlier end of 31 July 2026, suggesting the run was extended at least once.
Operational detail remains thin. No source reached during this run states the per-session group size, the floor area of the installation, or whether the headsets are standalone or tethered, so those fields are left unset. Attendance figures reported for other productions at this venue, and for Horizon of Khufu at the Old Port of Montreal, belong to different deployments and are not attributed here.
