Taiwan Agricultural and Livestock Industry Co., Ltd. used augmented reality smart glasses and a live-video guided tour to show students around its plants. The visitors were nutrition students from I-Shou University, who visited the company's Nongke and Xinle plants on 14 October 2026.
Company staff introduced the company's development and its food safety management system, then used the AR smart glasses and live video so students could observe the plant environment and meat-processing flow without entering the food production areas. The approach was described as meeting teaching needs while protecting food hygiene and safety.
The university described the tour as a way for students to learn about innovative applications of smart technology in the food-processing industry.
