Taiwan’s Presidential Office is using projection mapping on its building in Taipei for the 2026 National Day celebrations. Titled “Democratic Taiwan, the Heartbeat of the World,” the show projects imagery onto the facade to present Taiwan’s democratic development through historical memories and stories from different periods.

The nightly programme began on October 7 and is scheduled to run through October 10 on Ketagalan Boulevard. The General Association of Chinese Culture organizes the show under the guidance of the Presidential Office.

The event also offers “Democratic Taiwan Commemorative Badges” in 11 designs inspired by major events in Taiwan’s democratic history.
